Group Fitness Class Descriptions
Back To Basics- We will incorporate the very basics of fitness. You will work on weight training (light to moderate), basic cardio, Pilates, and stretching. This class is for any level, and a great option for a beginner. Each one will be a different workout to keep your body guessing.
BODYPUMP™: The original barbell class that shapes, tones and strengthens your entire body. The key to BODYPUMP is the rep effect, a breakthrough in fitness and training focusing on high repetition movements with low weight loads. This will help you achieve strength and introduce lean body muscle conditioning.
BODYCOMBAT™: Is a high-energy martial arts-inspired workout that is totally non-contact. Punch and kick your way to fitness and burn up to 570 calories** in a class. No experience needed. Learn moves from Karate, Taekwondo, Boxing, Muay Thai, Capoeira and Kung Fu. Release stress, have a blast and feel like a champ. Bring your best fighter attitude and leave inhibitions at the door.
Cycle: This is a non-impact, high-energy cycling adventure. It will take you through hill climbs, sprints, jumps, pacing and interval training. You will also learn proper cycling technique and positioning for the most optimal workout designed to challenge your endurance and increase your cardiovascular health. Beginner level options available.
HighLow Fitness: Reminiscent of the {aerobics} glory days, this format is based on traditional aerobics principles that create a steady state cardio workout without the impact of burpees or cardio push tracks. Offering the same choreographed, sweaty fun of our original format, HIGH Low brings you ENERGY GALORE with impact no more!
High YO: A music-driven, light-hearted stretching class which incorporates stretching, strength, and balance to improve overall health.
Pilates: A method of exercise that consists of low-impact flexibility and muscular strength and endurance movements. Pilates emphasizes proper postural alignment, core strength and muscle balance.
Pilates Fusion combines basic mat Pilates with body sculpting and basic functional movements for a low impact and a high/low intensity workout adjustable to all fitness levels. The class will help enhance body tone, core strength, and flexibility.
Power 45 : A fitness class that incorporates a full body workout that is mixed between cardio and various strength training exercises to tone, sculpt and energize you.
P90X Live ®: A total body, cardio and strength training class that uses body weight and dumbbells to build a strong, fit body and confident mind. A results-driven program, it utilizes the latest techniques to target balance, core strength, athletic ability and functional movement in everyday life.
Sculpt: When muscle meets yoga. Sculpt will incorporate free weights into your flow, you will intensify each pose while mixing in strength-training moves. You will boost your metabolism and build lean muscle mass as you flow, jump, and sweat. Some mindfulness from yoga is practiced slowing down class.
SilverSneakers Circuit: A low-impact full body workout. Aerobic or cardiovascular exercise is the highlight of this class which features upper-body strength workouts using hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles and other fun accessories in non-impact aerobic activity. A chair is available for support and easy head-to-toe stretching.
SILVERSNEAKERS® SPLASH & Splash Fitness: A fun, shallow-water exercise class that uses different intensity options. Splash is suitable for all skill levels and is safe for non-swimmers. The pool provides many benefits when used for aerobic exercise and resistance training.
Sit to get Fit: It is a fun, convenient, energetic way to burn calories, improve muscle tone, increase range of motion and feel better all over in your body all while sitting down.
Tone: combines blocks of strength, cardio and core training into one complete and convenient workout. LES MILLS TONE will burn calories and help you build fitness and strength while improving energy levels, flexibility, balance, agility and core strength.
Yoga : Mind and body practice. Various styles of yoga combine physical postures, breathing techniques, and meditation or relaxation. Slow movements and deep breathing increase blood flow and warm up muscles, while holding a pose can build strength. Yoga combines aerobic and anaerobic movements, as well as elements from Hatha Yoga and traditional exercise, linked together in a gentle flowing series of poses that can increase range of motion, flexibility, endurance, and balance.
Yoga Strong: We will incorporate bodyweight strength exercises into your flow.
Yoga Flow: Connects the moves mindfully through a series of yoga poses connected by breath.
