Introducing Crosswinds Golf Course!

While this will always remain a municipal golf course, proudly owned and operated by Williston Parks & Recreation District, the course is getting a complete transformation, and so is its name and branding!

After more than 40 years as the Williston Municipal Golf Course, affectionately known as “The Muni,” we are excited to introduce Crosswinds Golf Course!

The course is now officially closed as construction is underway to completely transform the property into a newly redesigned 18-hole golf course. This project is much more than simply adding nine new holes. The entire course is being reimagined, including new fairways, greens, infrastructure, a new clubhouse, and additional facilities to create an entirely new golf experience for our community.

The Crosswinds name came to life through a community-driven process that began with 89 name suggestions from the public. The Williston Park Board officially approved the name in August 2026, followed by approval of the new logo and branding in September.

 

Construction & Reopening

Crosswinds Golf Course is currently closed for construction, with an anticipated reopening in Summer 2028. This timeline allows for the complete reconstruction of the course and gives the new turf and vegetation time to properly establish before welcoming golfers back.

We know the wait is long, but we truly believe it will be worth it!
