The Williston Municipal Golf Course will open April 10 for the 2026 season!

Nestled in the heart of Williston, our municipal golf course offers an inviting and challenging experience for golfers of all skill levels. With meticulously maintained fairways, scenic landscapes, and a welcoming atmosphere, it’s the perfect place to enjoy a relaxing round, sharpen your game, or spend quality time with friends and family. 2026 Opening Timeline:

• April 8: Call 701-577-1321 to book tee times and/or buy memberships from 10:00am-2:00pm 
• April 9: Call 701-577-1321 to book tee times and/or buy memberships from 10:00am-2:00pm
• April 10: Tee times available from 12:00pm-6:00pm
• April 11: Tee times available from 11:00pm-6:00pm
• April 12: Tee times available from 11:00pm-6:00pm

Note: Bookings will be limited to three days in advance due to unpredictable weather conditions this time of year. We appreciate your patience and understanding.

 

Changes for the 2026 Season:
Throughout the 2026 season, golfers will notice the presence of construction equipment as work begins around the current 9-hole course, marking the early stages of its transformation into the long anticipated 18-hole layout. Clearly marked signage will identify designated construction zones, including areas that may have previously been accessible. For your safety, we kindly ask all golfers to remain attentive and follow all posted signage at all times

Toward the end of the season, on a date to be determined, portions of the course will require spraying. While this will affect overall playability for the remainder of the season, the greens will not be directly impacted. Although not ideal, this step is necessary to keep the project on schedule and ensure timely completion.

Labor Day, September 7, 2026, will mark the end of an era for the 9-hole course at the Williston Municipal Golf Course and will be the final day of play. Following that day, extensive construction will begin to fully transform the course into a newly redesigned 18-hole experience, an upgrade long envisioned by our community.

To accommodate this work, the course will remain closed throughout the 2027 season, with an anticipated reopening in 2028. Ongoing updates and additional details regarding the project timeline will be shared on the Capital Projects page.

In addition to the course improvements, the clubhouse and other on-site structures will be fully renovated, creating a completely reimagined experience at the beloved Muni.
