Adult Program Policies

Media Release

  • The Williston Parks & Recreation routinely captures photos and videos of participants and visitors in our programs and facilities for promotional purposes. By participating in or using our facilities, you grant WPRD the right to use and publish images of you. Please note that no monetary remuneration will be provided for these images. You must contact the program coordinator or marketing department if you wish to decline participation in marketing efforts

Registration

  • Fees: Registration fees must be paid in full at the time of enrollment. All teams must be registered under the managers household.
  • Deadline: Registration deadlines will be communicated in advance. Late registrations may be accepted at the discretion of the program coordinator.
  • All participants within the team must be 16 years or older before the program begins.
  • Additions to the rosters cannot be made after the fourth week of play.
  • Players may only be signed to ONE roster per league.
  • Free agents may be available. Contact the program coordinator if you are looking for an extra player.

Behavior Expectations

  • Participants are expected to demonstrate respect towards officials, staff, and fellow participants.
  • Bullying, harassment, or any form of misconduct will not be tolerated. Violations may result in disciplinary action, including suspension or expulsion from the program.
  • All calls made by officials are final. Fighting with an official will result in expulsion from the league.
  • Absolutely no alcohol will be allowed unless an alcohol permit has been purchased for designated leagues.

Safety and Health

  • First aid kits will be available at all program locations. Program coordinators are trained in basic first aid and CPR.
  • Participants displaying symptoms of illness should remain at home to prevent the spread of illness.

Equipment and Attire

  • Participants are responsible for their personal equipment and attire. Proper clothing and footwear must be worn during activities.
  • Any equipment provided by the program will be communicated with team managers.

Communication

  • Team managers are required to be at the managers’ meeting prior to the league starting to receive all the information for the league.
  • A team that no call, no shows, will be removed from the schedule and the league. No refund will be given. When a team needs to forfeit, they must contact the program coordinator by 12:00pm on the day of the game.
  • All program cancellations and location changes will be notified by email, Statusy, and WPRD Facebook.

Refund Policy

  • Full Refund: Participants will receive a 100% refund if notification is received before the program's start date.
  • Medical Refund: 100% refund for medical reasons
  • Pro-Rated Refund: Participants withdrawing from the program after it has started will receive a pro-rated refund based on the remaining sessions.
  • No Refunds: No refunds will be issued after the program has reached the halfway point

Grievance Procedure

  • Any concerns or complaints should be directed to the program coordinator within 24 hours of the incident. An investigation will be conducted, and a resolution will be provided within a reasonable timeframe by the program coordinator and Recreation Manager.
