The purpose of this program is to introduce children to the game of Tackle Football and have fun while doing so!

All players will have an opportunity to try out. If you are participating in another sport, contact us to arrange a separate tryout.

Season Timeline:

• Group Practice: August 3–7
• Team Draft: August 8
• First Week of Team Practice: August 10–15
• Jamboree / Preseason Practice Week: August 17–21
• Jamboree: August 22
• Regular Season: August 24–September 26
• First Round Playoffs: September 28–October 3
• Second Round Playoffs: October 5–10
• Championship Week: October 12–17

Games will be held on Saturday mornings and afternoons.

Practice times and locations will vary depending on the team and coach. Parents will receive an email prior to the first practice with specific details on the schedule and location.

The official game schedule will be sent out prior to the start of the season.

League Details:

• A Parent Meeting will be held following the 4th of July. The program coordinator will communicate the exact date and time closer to the start of the season.

Equipment:

• All necessary football equipment is provided by WPRD, with a required security deposit.
• Equipment required but not provided: Mouthguard, athletic shoe/plastic cleats.
