The Williston Parks & Recreation District (WPRD) has selected Strata Corporation to lead this project. More information will be posted as it become available.

Project Overview

The Spring Lake Park Improvement Project will upgrade the existing gravel road leading to the overlook by constructing a new paved roadway. This work will include excavation, placement of a new aggregate base, and asphalt paving to create a smoother and more durable surface. Once the project is complete, the improved roadway will provide safer and more reliable access for visitors. These upgrades will make it easier for the public to reach and enjoy this area of the park, including the Frisbee golf course and the scenic overlook.

Construction Timeline

• Bid Opens: April 4, 2026
• Bids Due: May 4, 2026 – 12:00pm/CT
• Public Bid Opening: May 4, 2026 at 12:00pm/CT
  • At the Williston ARC in the Jordy Larvik Board Room
• Award Date: May 19, 2026 at the WPRD Park Board meeting.
• Construction Ends: October 24, 2026
