As the Zamboni Operator/RFCC Building Supervisor, you will operate the ice resurfacer, maintain safe and clean ice conditions, and help oversee general facility operations during assigned shifts. This seasonal position also assists with facility setup, cleaning, maintenance, and guest needs throughout the winter season.

Essential Job Duties:

• Operate the ice resurfacer and perform routine ice maintenance.
• Maintain safe and clean ice conditions for scheduled programs, practices, games, and events.
• Assist with setup and teardown of rink equipment and facility spaces.
• Perform general cleaning and basic facility maintenance as needed.
• Serve as Building Supervisor during assigned shifts and oversee general facility operations.
• Assist guests, user groups, and staff with questions or concerns.
• Monitor the facility for safety, cleanliness, and proper use.
• Respond to incidents and facility concerns and report issues to the appropriate supervisor.
• Perform opening and closing duties as assigned.
• Perform related duties as required.

• Ability to safely operate an ice resurfacer and other facility equipment.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
• Ability to work independently and provide direction to staff when needed.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Knowledge of basic safety practices and procedures.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Ability to work with limited supervision.
• Ability to perform the physical duties required of the position.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license.
• Ice resurfacer experience preferred, but training will be provided.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 30 pounds or perform heavier lifting with other employees.
